Merril A.Turner
Merril A.Turner is the founder of Turner Tile which later changed to Turner Ceramic Tile. The company was formed in his home town of Shawnee, Kansas with his own two hands and the drive to succeed in 1979. He began in small residential and continued to grow into Restaurants. In the early 80’s Merril had found his desire in Multi Family Apartments. By the 90’s Merril had built Turner Ceramic Tile to be known as the tile company for apartments. Merril in 2000 passed on his position with the company to his son Josh Turner. Still part of the company, Merril continues to focus on relationships and is involved in the bidding process.
Pamela S. Turner
Pamela S. Turner helped Merril in founding the company. She was the accountant from 1979. Pamela became president in 2000 when Merril passed his position on to his son Josh Turner. Pamela is a member of Phi Theta Kappa, an International Honor Society and a member of Eastern Star. Pamela's main role is overseeing all finances within the company.
Joshua A. Turner
Josh had been around tile all of his life. From going on the jobs with Merril at a young age he had seen the relationships built. In 1996 Josh entered into Turner Ceramic Tile as the delivery driver and grouter. In charge of making sure all jobs were ready for installers. In 1998 Josh became a foreman and part estimator for the Company. In 2000 Josh took over the role of Merril with overseeing all aspect of bidding to completion and became Vice President of the company. At the point of Josh's taking over, apartments had began to come to a hault. Knowing this Turner Ceramic Tile moved to doing commercial full swing. Josh unlike Merril knew that all could not be accomplished with his own 2 hands. From 2000 to 2006 Josh’s focus was building a complete company. Now in 2008 Turner Ceramic has 8 people that work on everything from estimating to project management and 20+ individuals in the field.
Amanda S. Free
Amanda started with Turner Ceramic Tile in 2001 as a receptionist and assistant to Josh Turner. In 2004 Amanda became the treasurer. Her roles at this point now included being the accountant. She is in charge of all payables, receivables, and bonds. In 2008 she continues her drive with the company and is also the office manager.
